Port Burwell is a small community located on the north shore of Lake Erie, in the
Municipality of Bayham. It is approximately 2.5 hours from Toronto, or 1 hour from London, Ontario, and is situated directly south of Tillsonburg on Highway 19/Plank Road. Click here for a Google map showing Port Burwell.
There are numerous things to see and do in our community— fishing, swimming, boating, kayaking, hiking, and camping. Port Burwell is home to several historic buildings— lighthouse, marine museum, churches, homes — as well as the Erie Shores Wind Farm and its 66 wind turbines. It also hosts several community events including: July 1st Parade; Tub Daze; and the Coal Flats Blues Festival.
